This could be the most challenging part of a wedding to organise.

For some reason, the way you imagine it to look and how it actually looks in reality never quite tally up; unless you are well organised.

However, how an event is styled will be the first impression for all that attends.

This is our painless guide to styling your wedding. Not everything will be applicable to you, but at least we’ve got you covered and you can tick it off the list.

Our first advice is to start with a mood board and work through the list below. For some Inspo check out our collections – we just love a mood board.

Centrepieces: Height will attract your eye line instantly and give a wow factor.
Candles: The lighting from a candle will create a wonderful romantic atmosphere.
Overhead Decor: Fairy lights, chandeliers, wooden wheels, festoons, bunting etc..
Chairs: Whether it be signs, reserved tags or simple chair coverings – give it some thought.
Quote Signs: Certainly not a must but it adds some light humour and is your chance to be creative.
Directions: Just remember that the venue is probably new to most attendees and some simple directions will be useful.
Memories Corner: Some like to remember people who couldn’t be there by way of photos, candles and mementos.
